My name is Anders Henriksson, and photography has followed me throughout different stages of life.
I was born in 1962 and began photographing at the age of 17–18, working with black and white film. I developed and printed my images in a small darkroom at my parents’ home. When I later moved out and no longer had access to a darkroom, I stopped photographing.
Over the years, my professional life took a different path. I worked as an athletics coach for 15 years, and for more than 20 years as a university lecturer in sport science. These experiences have shaped the way I observe movement, presence, and human expression.
After a break of nearly 25 years, I returned to photography with a digital camera. What began as a quiet rediscovery has gradually grown into something more meaningful.
Over the past two years, the idea of sharing my photographs has taken form. Lux Mea is the result — a place to present my work and explore light, perception, and moments of everyday life.
All photographs on this site are taken and edited by me.
